Viminaria juncea - golden spray

A small shrub with many green soft stems, but no leaves. The stems are upright and new growth has a rusty brown colour. The flowers are arranged on special stems drooping out of the bushy mass of stems.

Flowering: spring.

Habitat: In full sun in wet heathland and along creek beds

Distribution: Along the coast in all states except NT
