Family Fabaceae Pultenaea retusa
A small shrub with short spreading branches. the leaves are elongate and have a notch in the apex. Flowers are yellow with a red centre and a dark red keel. Flowering: winter and spring. Habitat: In forest on both sandy and clay soils. Distribution: in Sydney from coast to mountains but not common. Along the coast from Victoria to Queensland.
