Petrophile pulchella Conesticks

Diagnosis: An erect shrub with deeply divided leaves, which are not prickly, as in related species. The flowers are borne in a somewhat untidy terminal flower head. The flowers are light yellow.

Habitat: Rocky, dry soils in open forest

Flowering: Summer

Distribution: In Sydney coast to mountains. Also NSW north coast and south coast.
