Leucopogon juniperus Prickly Beard-heath

A straggly, erect shrub with sharply pointed leaves pointing away from the stem in all directions. Flowers are sparse, white and tubular, rather small and not particularly attractive.

Flowering: Winter and spring.

Habitat: understorey shrub in forest on sandy soils

Distribution: in Sydney widespread from coast to mountains. Queensland to Victoria.
