Kunzea capitata - Pink kunzea

Diagnosis: An erect straggly shrub, with elongate leaves, up to 9 mm long and 3 mm wide, with three visible veins. The flowers are borne in terminal heads. Both the flower heads and the stems are covered in downy hair.

Flowering: Spring

Habitat: sandy soils, heath and open forest

Distribution: In Sydney widespread from coast to mountains. Common in National Parks. From south coast and southern tablelands north to Queensland.
