Isopogon anethifolius Narrow-leaf Drumsticks

A dense, erect shrub, with dark green leaves, which are deeply divided into needle-like segments. The yellow flowers are borne terminally, are stalkless and consist of a dense head from which the individual flowers protrude (hence the popular name).

Habitat: sandstone soils, in dry open forest and heath.

Flowering: Spring

Distribution: Widespread in Sydney. Also New South Wales south coast and southern tablelands.
