Hibbertia cistiflora

One of a number of species with needle-like leaves, this species can be recognised by the fact that the stamens are all on one side of the carpels, and the carpels do not have hair, as in Hibbertia riparia.

Flowering: only in late winter/early spring

Habitat: Moist areas in heath and scrubland, on sandy soils.

Distribution: Widespread from coast to mountains, also in Queensland and Victoria
