Diagnosis: A shrub with thick, round, needle-like leaves, which bear long white hair when young. The fruit is warty with a shork beak

Habitat: Open heath, sandy soils.

Flowering: Late winter to spring

Distribution: Coast and mountains from North NSW to Tasmania
