Goodenia ovata Hop Goodenia
A green leeafy plant with soft branches and large, glossy dark green leaves, with slightly toothed edges. The flowers are bright yellow and borne on short stalks between and above the foliage.
Flowering: Late spring to summer
Habitat: Sheltered tall forest and rainforest edges, often near the sea
Distribution: In Sydney common from coast to mountains, also north coast, south coast and tablelands, and western slopes and plains. Also in Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania.
