Eriostemon australasius - Pink wax flower
An attractive shrub with pale pink flowers borne near the top of the branches. The leaves are lanceolate to linear, dark green, with a rough surface and rather conspicuous midvein underneath
Flowering: Only in spring
Habitat: Open forest, heath and coastal dunes, on sandy soils
Distribution: In Sydney widespread and common from coast to mountains. Also from south coast to Queensland, most common along the coast.
