Brachyloma daphnoides - Daphne Heath
An erect shrub, with blueish green leaves, and white, bell-shaped flowers. The 5 lobes of the tube spread like a star, the points of which are reddish. The young leaves also have reddish tips.
Flowering: Late winter to Spring.
Habitat: heath and open forest, on sandy soils.
Distribution: in Sydney widespread from coast to mountains, but especially common on coastal heath. Throughout NSW, except in the far west. Also in Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.
