Diagnosis: Low shrub with simple, elongate leaves, or leaves divided into three leaflets. The leaves are placed opposite. The flowers are very numerous, borne in the leaf axils.

Flowering: Winter and early Spring only

Habitat: Open forest on sandy soils.

Distribution: Coast and mountains, NSW south coast to Vic., southern tablelands and central western slopes
