Aotus ericoides Common Aotus

An erect shrub with scattered, dark green, rosemary-like leaves along the stems. The stems are covered in fine silvery hairs. The yellow flowers are borne in small clusters from the leaf axils.

Flowering: winter and spring.

Habitat: Heath and open forest on sandy soils.

Distribution: in Sydney from coast to mountains. From Queensland to South Australia; also in Tasmania.
