Acacia linifolia - Flax-leaf Wattle
A straggly tall shrub, with thin narrow leaves and soft stems. Flowers are creamy yellow and not particularly showy
Flowering: Summer and early autumn, but some flowers can be found during much of the year.
Habitat: An understory shrub in open forest on sandstome soils
Distribution: Restricted to the Sydney area, and very common in suburban bushland, where it tolerates quite some disturbance.
