Acacia baileyana - Cootamundra Wattle

A small to medium-sized tree with silvery green divided leaves of 2-6 pinnae and masses of yellow flowers.

Flowering: winter.

Habitat: on roadsides and other disturbed sites. This plant is not native to the Sydney region and is mostly a garden escapee and a weed, albeit not a very serious one.

Distribution: Native to southern New South Wales, but widely naturlised in the eastern states.
